Week 13

This week was all about final preparation. We practiced for our presentation and reviewed both our PowerPoint and script. There were also reminders to invite people to watch our presentation, which made it feel more real and exciting. We shared invitation messages and encouraged others to join. It felt like we were finally ready to present all our hard work. There were still some small challenges, like scheduling conflicts and last-minute adjustments, but overall, we managed to prepare well. This week made me feel proud of our group. From simple beginnings to a complete project, we worked together, overcame challenges, and improved along the way. Now, we are ready to present our app and share our ideas with others.

Week 12

No Classes! This week had no classes, so it felt like a short break. It gave us time to rest and recharge, but also made me realize how much we’ve already done in our project. However, even during the break, our group chat was still active. We were also given trends to work on. These include digitalization and social media use (long-term) and online selling and delivery services (long-term) . Both are still growing and are now part of people’s daily lives. Overall, even without classes, we were still able to stay connected and continue working little by little.

Week 11

Appdate! This was one of the busiest weeks. We had meetings, recordings, and deadlines all at the same time. Everyone was assigned specific tasks like recording lines, writing self-introductions, and organizing the script. There were also last-minute reminders and sudden meetings, which made things a bit stressful. Some members had conflicts with their schedules, but we still tried to adjust and cooperate. Recording our parts was challenging because we wanted it to sound clear and natural. We had to repeat some lines and make sure everything was submitted on time. Despite the pressure, this week showed how important coordination is. Even if things get messy, communication helps keep everything on track.

Week 10

Exhibit This week, we were preparing for an exhibit, although there was some confusion because we also had another presentation. Still, we were asked to suggest an activity that could be added to our app, preferably related to HUMSS or barangay concerns. This task made us think deeper about our app’s purpose. It’s not just about information, it’s also about engagement. We wanted users to interact with the app and learn something meaningful. Even though the instructions were simple, it required creativity. We had to think of something useful, relevant, and interesting for users. This week reminded me that good projects are not just informative they should also be engaging and helpful to the community.

Week 9

Appdate! This week, our work became more detailed and structured. Tasks were assigned more clearly, especially for creating sub-questions for our Google Forms. Each pair was given a specific question related to our app, barangays, and the HUMSS strand. We also worked on predicting possible issues in different barangays like Poblacion, Paliparan, Burgos, Sta. Monica, and Malasin. This part required research, so we had to find reliable sources and understand real community problems. Deadlines were stricter this time, which added pressure. But at the same time, it helped us stay focused. Everyone had something to do, and we needed to submit on time. This week helped me realize how important research is. It’s not enough to just have ideas we need evidence and understanding to support them. It also showed how our app connects to real-life community issues.

Our mobile application is titled “Usapang Humanista” , which focuses on promoting the HUMSS strand while connecting it to real issues in different barangays. My Contribution My main role in the project was being a researcher . I helped gather information and support our ideas, especially about barangay issues and the importance of the HUMSS strand. Aside from that, I also joined group discussions, shared ideas during brainstorming, and helped improve some parts of our work when needed. Week 8

Teamwork <3 This week became more active and interactive for our group. We started brainstorming new ideas to improve our app. Everyone was asked to give at least one suggestion, which made the discussion more open and creative. We also planned to have a meeting so we could talk properly and not just rely on chat messages. During the meeting, we shared suggestions, discussed features, and thought about how to make our app more useful. Some members also started working on designs, while others focused on the script. There were also reminders about completing the peer evaluation and reviewing the project outline. This was important because we needed to fully understand our app, especially with a questioning part coming up. I liked this week because it felt more collaborative. Instead of just doing tasks individually, we were actually working together, sharing ideas, and improving the project as a team.
