Mobile Application Final Project

 About Me

Hi! My name is Althea, and I am a student. In our group, I worked as a researcher.

Our mobile application is titled “Usapang Humanista”, which focuses on promoting the HUMSS strand while connecting it to real issues in different barangays.

My Contribution

My main role in the project was being a researcher. I helped gather information and support our ideas, especially about barangay issues and the importance of the HUMSS strand.

Aside from that, I also joined group discussions, shared ideas during brainstorming, and helped improve some parts of our work when needed. I made sure to stay active in our group chat and follow deadlines.

Challenges Encountered

One challenge I experienced was understanding how all parts of the project connect with each other. At first, it was confusing since we were working on different sections.

I solved this by communicating with my groupmates and reviewing our project outline. As we shared ideas, everything became clearer.

Another challenge was managing time, especially when tasks and deadlines overlapped. I handled this by organizing my work and checking updates regularly.

Learning and Insights

From this project, I learned the importance of teamwork and communication. Even simple messages helped keep the group active and connected.

I also improved my skills in research and writing. I realized that every role is important in completing a project.

Even during our break, we stayed active and continued sharing ideas, which showed that teamwork doesn’t stop even without classes.

Conclusion

Overall, this project was a meaningful experience for me. It helped me grow, become more responsible, and improve my skills.

This project also prepared me for future tasks by teaching me how to work with a team and contribute properly. I am proud of what our group achieved, and I will carry these learnings with me.

Week 10

Exhibit This week, we were preparing for an exhibit, although there was some confusion because we also had another presentation. Still, we were asked to suggest an activity that could be added to our app, preferably related to HUMSS or barangay concerns. This task made us think deeper about our app’s purpose. It’s not just about information, it’s also about engagement. We wanted users to interact with the app and learn something meaningful. Even though the instructions were simple, it required creativity. We had to think of something useful, relevant, and interesting for users. This week reminded me that good projects are not just informative they should also be engaging and helpful to the community.
