Reflections and Looking Ahead (5th Blog - Week 5)

Looking back at the 3rd quarter, I can really see how much I have grown as a student through Empowerment Technology. At first, I thought technology was just about using apps or browsing the internet. But this subject has shown me that it is much more it is a tool that helps me learn, create, and share my ideas . Technology has made learning more fun and interesting . Tasks that used to feel boring, like researching or organizing information, now feel easier and even exciting because I can use apps, blogs, and online tools to make them creative. I enjoy making visuals for my projects, recording my mobile app in action, and writing about what I learned. Working with digital tools has also helped me communicate better and work well with others . Group projects and peer evaluations taught me how to share my thoughts clearly, listen to others, and think carefully about the information I use. I learned that learning becomes better when we work together and help each other . Creating this...

The project requirements included: Approved Project Proposal Filled-out MIT App Inventor Project Outline (up to Phase 2) Gantt Chart to track progress Performance Peer Evaluation Screen recording of the running mobile application All links and files saved in Google Drive Developing this project taught me a lot about planning, organization, and problem-solving . Using MIT App Inventor was challenging at first because I had to learn how to make the app run properly. By following tutorials, experimenting with tools, and collaborating with classmates, I was able to create a working application. I also learned the importance of organizing files and sharing progress online . Using Google Drive to store all files and project links helped me stay prepared for submission. Completing this project gave me a sense of accomplishment. It showed me that technology is a powerful...

3rd Quarter Activities (3rd Blog - Week 3)

During this quarter, we completed several activities that helped me strengthen my skills in technology and reflection. These included: LG1_L1 Quiz 1 – Tested my understanding of ICT concepts and helped me identify areas I needed to review. Module 1 Test: Information and Communication Technology   Challenged me to apply lessons practically and improved my critical thinking. LG2 Activity 2.1 – Autobiography  helped me reflect on my personal journey, strengths, and goals. Blog Posts Activity – Enabled me to share my reflections, experiences, and projects in a structured way. These activities taught me the value of consistency, responsibility, and effort . Completing each task on time and thoroughly helped me develop time management and organization skills , which are essential in school and in life. I also became more comfortable using digital tools to research, collaborate, and create content , which boosted my confidence in technology.

Autobiography (2nd Blog - Week 2)

My Autobiography One of our activities this quarter was LG2 Activity 2.1 , which asked us to create an autobiography . I wrote about my journey as a student, my interests, and my goals for the future. In my autobiography, I shared that I am passionate about learning, especially when it comes to technology. I reflected on my experiences in school, including the challenges I faced, such as managing time for assignments and learning new tools. I also wrote about my dreams of becoming a psychologist or a lawyer, and how I hope to help people through my work. This activity was meaningful because it encouraged me to look back at my journey and think about how my past experiences have shaped me. Writing my autobiography taught me that reflecting on life helps me understand my strengths, weaknesses, and the steps I need to take to achieve my goals. I realized that self-reflection is an important skill , not just for school assignments but for personal growth. Creating this autobiogr...

Introduction to Empowerment Technology (1st Blog- Week 1)

Introduction to Empowerment Technology This quarter, we explored Empowerment Technology and how it affects our daily lives as students. I realized that technology is more than just social media or games it is a tool for learning, creating, and sharing ideas . Our first activity involved understanding ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and its role in education. We discussed how digital tools help students research, collaborate, and communicate effectively. I realized that technology can make learning more interactive, creative, and enjoyable . I also started exploring digital responsibility . Using technology wisely means respecting others online, protecting personal information, and avoiding misinformation. This lesson reminded me that being a responsible digital citizen is just as important as learning to use the tools themselves. This first week made me excited about the possibilities that technology offers. It is amazing how one tool can help students learn, ...
