Reflections and Looking Ahead (5th Blog - Week 5)
Looking back at the 3rd quarter, I can really see how much I have grown as a student through Empowerment Technology. At first, I thought technology was just about using apps or browsing the internet. But this subject has shown me that it is much more it is a tool that helps me learn, create, and share my ideas.
Technology has made learning more fun and interesting. Tasks that used to feel boring, like researching or organizing information, now feel easier and even exciting because I can use apps, blogs, and online tools to make them creative. I enjoy making visuals for my projects, recording my mobile app in action, and writing about what I learned.
Working with digital tools has also helped me communicate better and work well with others. Group projects and peer evaluations taught me how to share my thoughts clearly, listen to others, and think carefully about the information I use. I learned that learning becomes better when we work together and help each other.
Creating this blog and building my mobile app showed me that ideas can really come to life. Seeing my app run for the first time or publishing my blog made me feel proud. These projects taught me that patience, practice, and creativity are just as important as technical skills.
I also learned the importance of being responsible online. Using technology is not just about making things or posting online it’s about being respectful, checking facts, and keeping personal information safe. Empowerment Technology taught me that being a good digital citizen is as important as knowing how to use the tools.
I feel proud of the skills I have learned this quarter: blogging, building an app, planning projects, and reflecting on my experiences. These skills are helping me not just for school, but also for my future career, where I want to help people as a psychologist or lawyer.
As my journey continues, I am excited to explore new projects, challenge myself with advanced tools, and continue reflecting on my experiences. Empowerment Technology has empowered me to grow academically, creatively, and personally, and I look forward to the opportunities and lessons that lie ahead in the next quarter.
